Few Updates..

Somehow I've failed to keep this blog up to date..

especially since another Recycled Woodie has come online.

a few weeks back Hemmings ran a nice short piece about the Wine Country Region ACBS show my wife and I attended..
here: Event Coverage – Wooden boat and woodie car show in Hammondsport, New York

and while I was happy to attend with the recycled 40 ford woodie,
I had hoped to take both the ford and the NEW-OLD Oldsmobile woodie to the event..
unfortunately "new car" bugs precluded the olds from this trip.


following our return from New York we had a nice trip south.. with both cars..

that post will have to wait..

Stopped to visit a national woodie club member during my drive your woodie day festivities.

Winter Time Happenings

This winter was somewhat unique, the lack of snow and above normal temperatures meant that I should have been working in the shop.. Alas.. I didn't have a great deal of time for my own projects this winter.. given commitments to my job and family..

One thing that did happen, My Recycled Oldsmobile made its first show northeastcustomcarshow

and my good friend Carl snapped a nice shot of the Oldsmobile. 

In spite of the lack of snow.. this is pennsylvania, and I still feel that the tobaggan was an appropriate choice.

additionally.. I have begun the "collection" of parts for yet another woodie.. which I'll share soon.
