Wheels of Time

I met Bob N. at this show about 3 years ago.

That means that I've known Bob about a year longer than I have owned my 40 woodie.

This year we had a nice visit with bob and his extended family and I was especially excited to hear he and his wife leave for Wavecrest in a few weeks.

And YES.. they will be driving their 1947 Ford Woodie. FROM NEW YORK!!!

Monday Morning

In Machungie with the "nice" cars!

Had a great time at 47th Das Awkscht Fescht in Macungie today, several other national Woodie club members attended with their beautiful woodies.


The Recycled 40 ford Woodie was without a doubt the "dirtiest" wagon on display!
* note to self.. being caught in a rain storm does not qualify as washing the car.


I chatted with my friend doug (noboD), for quite some time and learned about several of the cars that will be in an upcoming display at the AACA museum in September.

I've never been one to see a movie twice.. but I have a feeling I'll see the woodie display several times..
