Technology, I love technology

ironically.. my 75 year old car is using some relatively sophisticated technology



20 years ago the ambition to share my escapades would require that I type out a magazine article on a word processor and wait several months to see if my story passed some sort of editorial review.

today.. I log into this magical machine and within a few seconds ( good or bad) Poof.. Done published



technology is great.

heres some "technology in action."

the fuel injection controller could actually be stashed as at this
point the tuning is done. The I phone provides the foundation for several apps ,
my favorite being "dashboard" which provides realtime speed ( based on gps)
and helps verify my speed.

I heart technology!

Drive your Woodie Day

May 15th 2010 was designated by the NWC as "Drive your woodie day".. The one day of the year that NWC members vow to "take it for a drive"

This year the 15th of May also coincided with the Checkered Flag Jalopy Showdown held at Latimore Valley Speedway..

the trip to latimore was much more fun thanks to a chance encounter with my good friend carl "40luv" on the Pennsylvania Turnpike



but this was only the beginning of a great day!
