I need to remember to take my time more often..

my return trip from toms river was somewhat hastened because I was planning to meet up with my friend brian who would ride along to a car show this evening in machungie, pa.

BUT I HAD to stop for a drink at a rest area along the jersey turnpike

as i climbed out of the woodie an older lady seated at a table yelled out..
"what year is that?" i quickly replied "1940" in a manner which I hoped would indicate I wasnt interested in a lengthy conversation..

her reply.." same year I was born."

I missed a golden oppertunity to take her photo..

two models from 1940 in one place.. something that becomes increasingly more rare each day.

Toms river seaport society boat show

had a good time at the toms river seaport society this morning.. somewhat disappointed wiht the number of wooden boats at the show, seemed to be fewer than in years past.. still in love with the venue..

answered alot of questions about the woodie. had a few kids crawl in for photos.. in all a great day..
