Here at macungie for with a few members of the Penns Wood Chapter

 with Bill's 46 ford woodie from NJ..

the most beautiful late woodie mercury..

a recent local find.. 1940 ford standard woodie

 

 

from which I was able to glean a few detail pieces of information 

and finally.. a Chevy.. ANOTHER Rare 1940 Chevy sedan delivery (that makes 2 at the same show) 

just like my father,  the owner of this one has owned it forever.. this was its first outing. 

I'll always have a thing for these

lastly..

A 1938 Plymouth sedan.. another friend had one of these.. but it lacked the awesome roof mounted ariel

I doubt its effectiveness.. but I would love to have one..

Ed's 40 vert across the way and a rare 40 chevy similar to my dads.

thanks to TUCK, Danielle , Tokyo, and Jeep Doug for joining me..

My "nephews" came to visit, and wanted to drive the woodie wagon..

 

"W" has the look down.. .

 

and  "J" is obviously fearful of his brothers driving. 

for the record.. these are the only "boys" that I will ever allow to:

A. "Borrow" the car.. 

and 

B. Escort my daughters.

of course before the end of their short visit.. we did go for a "quick" spin around the block
